Initiatives
Salubong
Salubong is one of the flagship projects of Ateneo Gabay that is a three-day welcoming event for freshmen Atenean scholars that aims to acquaint them with the Atenean and Scholars' community by establishing meaningful relationships between the incoming freshmen scholars and the current scholar community and allowing the upperclassmen to mentor the incoming freshmen throughout their journey in the Ateneo.
Studybuddy
Studybuddy is the official academic services brand of Ateneo Gabay. It offers an anonymous academic online forum where students can discuss all Atenean subjects, a Long Exam Database, a Tutors Marketplace, and a source of academic inspiration through Studybuddy Bits and Stories. Only OBF accounts can access the site, and the site’s entire backend is built on Google Firebase. Aside from this Studybuddy also offers booklending services done onsite.
Brainblast!
Brainblast! will serve as a storytelling platform in a form somewhat like a “Powerpoint Party.” It seeks to provide a safe space and avenue for members of Ateneo Gabay to speak and share about their current interests or stories they are passionate about, free from any forms of prejudice.
Committee Snackouts
The Committee Snackouts has been the forefront initiative of each committee to engage and interact with the committee through bonding activities and plain social interactions.
Other internal initiatives
The Academics Committee prides itself on the front of having internal systems and initiatives which caters to the smooth flow of the committee’s workings and enable the committee to better cater the needs of the members. Examples of such initiatives are the Committee Primer, Acad Kit, Project Primers, Anonymous Tipper, etc.
